BALI, Surf and Outdoor Camp
The main focus of this trip is to undertake extensive training in learning how to surf with instructors who will teach them all the basics of surfing, from the sand to the water. The location for this will be the village of Medewi, which is in the north west of Bali, and this avoids the main areas of tourism to show the students some real life Indonesian culture.
Over 3 days students will undertake 3 – 5 hours of surfing activities each day. Their training will begin on the sand with basic safety standards and pop up techniques on the surf board right through to riding an unbroken wave. Lifesaving skills will also be included in their training along with beach clean up and an environmental presentation from the providers, that leads to a beach clean up activity. Students will also take part in Yoga activities on a daily basis. When in the water student to instructor ratio is no more than 1 / 4, which ensues that it will be a safe environment for all involved. The other part of the trip the students visit the north side of Bali. This part of the program will continue along the action theme. The activities that will be included are rafting, a subak walk and many others. This will last for approximately two days and two nights. Leader: Mr Lewis
