Known for its night markets and friendly people, Taiwan’s capital of Taipei is so much more than meets the eye. With a complex historical background intertwined with mainland China and its civil war in the early 20th century, Taiwan’s modern history has seen many ups and downs throughout the decades, propelling it to a modern economic and cultural powerhouse.
The trip to Taipei promises to be a busy and exciting one, exploring the culture of the city and the nearby countryside including visits to the Sun Yat Sen Memorial, a cycling adventure to Tamsui & Guandu Temple, a visit to the Ceramics museum, Yingge Old Street and a cloth dying activity. We will also hike Keelung mountain, visit Shifen waterfall followed by a sky lantern making activity. The tour will end with a visit to the Guandu wetlands conservation area followed by a visit to the Night Market & final reflections. Cost: HKD 14,000
