GSIS - Chinese Handicrafts
The Chinese handicraft workshop is perfect for those who are passionate about crafts. It offers a unique opportunity to learn more about Chinese culture and enhances your visual skills in a fun way.
During this workshop, you will have five days to work on traditional Chinese handicrafts, such as sachets and Chinese peace talisman. Sachets are beautifully embroidered with colourful threads, showcasing patterns inspired by paper-cutting designs. They are small cloth pockets that ancient cultures used to hold small objects. Throughout the workshop, you can access essential tools such as scissors, glue, needles, thread, and more, enabling you to create stunning Chinese handicrafts. You can also take your completed work home as a unique souvenir of your cultural experience.
